Best Practices

Protecting electronic information resources is the responsibility of all members of the UCSF community. The "Best Practices" found on this page are practices, procedures and configurations that EIS has determined will reduce the chance of a computer security incident at UCSF. As always, every situation is unique and information security is no guarantee. These practices may need to be tailored for your unique requirements and situation.
