Welcome to UCSF's Information Security Website

Information Security is everyone's responsibility. UCSF Enterprise Information Security is responsible for assisting UCSF community members in reducing the risk of information security incidents. This website is provided as a resource for all members of the UCSF community. You can find more information about us, how to report a security incident, best practices, services and products and policies, procedures and guidelines. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Information Security is a dynamic field with new vulnerabilities appearing everyday. Although we strive to keep this website up to date, one should never rely on a single source for information security information. We also realize that UCSF is a heterogeneous and diverse environment and that there is no "one size fits all" information security solution. This website is meant as a guide. Implementation of information security must take into consideration your environment.
